As a Full Stack Web Developer at EnerCom, I led the full redesign of JCA Companies’ website, from design through launch. I ran the client design calls, created the visual design and information architecture, rewrote the service pages, and then built the site in WordPress from the ground up, migrating content from the old CMS and handling the technical SEO, page speed, and schema markup needed to help the site perform in search. The results came quickly: after launch, JCA’s ranking keywords climbed from 14 to a peak of 101, about a 7x increase, and held at roughly 50 or more for more than two years.
