My work with Human Capital Education (HCE) began at Elsmere Education (EEI Inc.), where I was the Marketing Technology Specialist (Web Developer). When EEI acquired HCE, I moved into the new company and became the go-to person for its website, handling updates and whatever else HCE needed.
When Mickey Baines, SVP of Market Development, asked whether I’d be interested in using Claude to reshape the content and layout of HCE’s corporate site, I jumped at the chance to see how far AI could take it.
I designed and built the workflow myself. We interviewed clients, and I set up a Claude process that took those interview transcripts and turned them into new, substantive content. From there I owned the site: publishing the content, reworking the layout, and refining pages as we learned what worked. The goal was to make HCE an authoritative voice in higher education program marketing, the kind of source AI tools cite when people ask questions in this space.
As you can see below, the site now has far more content than before, and all of it is relevant, built to be cited. It’s working: since launch, HCE’s AI search visibility has grown from near zero to a peak monthly audience of about 600K, and AI brand mentions have nearly quadrupled. That visibility drives traffic to HCE’s site and strengthens its authority.
The site is still a work in progress, and I’m continuing to refine it. It’s been rewarding to see where it started and where it’s heading.
Stay tuned!
